Put GreatInvoice on your home screen
It installs like an app in a few taps, with no app store, and keeps working when the internet doesn't.
Android
Use Chrome
- 1Open GreatInvoice in Chrome.
- 2Tap Install app when it pops up. No pop-up? Tap the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- 3Tap GreatInvoice on your home screen. It opens like any other app.
iPhone and iPad
Use Safari
- 1Open GreatInvoice in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom (or top on iPad).
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Computer
Use Chrome or Edge
- 1Open GreatInvoice in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- 2Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install GreatInvoice.
- 3It opens in its own window and gets a shortcut like other programs.
After installing, open GreatInvoice once while you're online. It saves itself on your device, and from then on invoices, PDFs and WhatsApp sharing all work offline.
Questions
Do I need the Play Store or App Store?
No. GreatInvoice installs straight from the website, so there's nothing to download from a store and it takes very little space.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Open it once while you're online so it can save itself on your phone. After that you can make, save and share documents with no connection.
I don't see Install or Add to Home Screen
On Android, use Chrome. On iPhone, use Safari. Private or incognito windows can't install apps, so open a normal window. If GreatInvoice is already installed, the option won't show.
Where are my documents kept?
On your own phone or computer, in the browser that installed the app. To move to a new phone, save a backup from My business and restore it there.
